We’ll work with you to put together a menu to help launch your marriage beautifully and and deliciously! At Catering Visions, we cater Lower Mainland weddings (approximately 60 each year). So, we can confidently say, “we do.” We do weddings, that is. But also we know weddings. In fact, if you’re newly engaged and just beginning to plan, or perhaps wondering where to start, you may find our printable wedding checklist and timeline a helpful boost.

While you’ll find an impressive number of menus offered on our site, remember, there is nothing routine or cookie-cutter about the wedding catering we do at Catering Visions. It’s your special day and we want the food experience to be as unique as you are. That’s why we take a consultative and face-to-face approach, even allowing the bride and groom to to sample some of our food and provide fresh ideas.
We’re looking forward to meeting you. Before we meet, please feel free to look at some menu ideas, including a la carte selections. Also, have a look at some visual delights in our food photo gallery and let your mouth water!
Some couples prefer to “take the reins” themselves in menu-planning, others prefer more input and coordination from us, utilizing our existing suggested menus. Have you thought about offering at-the-table plate service or a buffet-style meal? And, what about about offering cocktail hour and a late-evening bite?
These are just a few basic items to consider when food planning for your wedding with help from Catering Visions. The number of expected guests, your budget, and the length of the reception are determining factors in making these decisions. We’re happy to work with you in creating a customized menu plan. The amount of customization is up to you.
Dreams Do Come True
If you expect at least 100 guests, you may want to offer your guests Catering Visions’ “Once Upon a Dream” all-inclusive menu. This richly varied menu includes a post-ceremony cocktail hour and a buffet that includes beef roast, baked pasta, and grilled wild Coho salmon. This dream menu includes a generous variety of sides, salads, and accompaniments– along with sweets and refreshments that will satisfy the pickiest eater on your guest list and delight the rest. Maybe now is a good time to mention that many of the weddings we cater are the result of the positive experience wedding-goers have had at a friend or family member’s wedding catered by us.
Wedding BBQs: A local favourite
Here in the Lower Mainland, barbeques are a favourite and less formal way of enjoying food with family and friends– and we love creating a memorable BBQ experience for weddings, too. Even without the formality, our BBQs are exquisitely organized and prepared. BBQs also happen be be among the things we at Catering Visions enjoy the most– using fresh, local meat and seafood like Canada AAA beef and grilled wild Coho salmon. Catering Visions’ outdoor BBQ experience has delighted the senses of hundreds of happy newlyweds and thousands of guests since 2003.

In our first meeting with you we’re all ears. We look forward to hearing about your special day and will give close attention to your wedding theme to determine how Catering Visions can best compliment that special atmosphere that you are working to create. It’s important to have a mutual “fit”– a shared comfort and confidence level– with the right format and flavours to match your wedding theme. Once we’ve moved forward together with you and completed the planning, we’ll make sure we’re on our “A” game on your wedding day, putting that careful planning into action.
